Mybags come off w/ 4 bolts, the luggage rack replaces my passenger Pillon, that comes off w/ 1 screw, this time of year in MI ya need the bags because its 40 when ya go to work & 75 when you get off.

I have the HD bags for my fatboy. I have the barebacks and they work great.

I also have a luggage rack that is mounted to the quick change sissy bar.

Everything is quick change..... I dont like the look of the bike with it all on. I can take it off when I ride solo and put it all back on when my wife rides with me. Here is a pic with the bags on and a pic in my signature with them off.

I'd go with one of these for your small stuff like shades, garage opener, cell, etc.
Just use a bungy cord or cargo net for your jacket. It's about $7 from the dealer for the net.
You could always ask a riding buddy with bags to carry you jacket for you ... catch myself doing that once in a while .
Although living in SoCal one rarely has too ...

The bag is a chopper bag by Leatherworks, Inc. (http://www.leatherworksinc.com/312%20Chopper%20BAg.php)
It's the 312 model and it laces to the swing arm with two upper and two lower leather 1/2" belts.
Goes on and off in a few minutes no tools required ... perfect!

I've got mine about a year ago and am very happy with it ... just right for sunglasses cell phone garage door opener and other small stuff one carries around these days.
I think it's perfect since I don't believe in large bags and other unnecessary stuff attached to the bike ...

I got mine at the harley dealer for $110.00

Ibought the HD windshield bag. It is perfect for sunglasses, cell phone, registration, keys whatever small items you want to store..... It was $ 100.00 but I know you can get a different brand for cheaper.

Here is my tank bag. $20 camera bag with the belt strap cut and under the seat and the console.

Small set of bags, 11" by 11" by 3.5", and sorry, I don't remember the manufactor. Anyway they're not so large that they look like *** cheeks hanging off the back, you've a cruser not a bagger, so use them in emergencys only.
