I also have a luggage rack that is mounted to the quick change sissy bar.
Everything is quick change..... I dont like the look of the bike with it all on. I can take it off when I ride solo and put it all back on when my wife rides with me. Here is a pic with the bags on and a pic in my signature with them off.
Ironbags all the way!! I got them with all the bells and whistle's thickest leather I have seen!!
These are the Freedom Bag, you can go to their web site and see pictures of all kinds of bags on all kinds of bikes!

Just use a bungy cord or cargo net for your jacket. It's about $7 from the dealer for the net.
You could always ask a riding buddy with bags to carry you jacket for you ... catch myself doing that once in a while
. Although living in SoCal one rarely has too ...
The bag is a chopper bag by Leatherworks, Inc. (http://www.leatherworksinc.com/312%20Chopper%20BAg.php)
It's the 312 model and it laces to the swing arm with two upper and two lower leather 1/2" belts.
Goes on and off in a few minutes no tools required ... perfect!
I've got mine about a year ago and am very happy with it ... just right for sunglasses cell phone garage door opener and other small stuff one carries around these days.
I think it's perfect since I don't believe in large bags and other unnecessary stuff attached to the bike ...
I got mine at the harley dealer for $110.00
