"Ibought the HD windshield bag. It is perfect for sunglasses, cell phone, registration, keys whatever small items you want to store..... It was $ 100.00 but I know you can get a different brand for cheaper. "
You could have baught a leather Fanny Pack for $10 and made the same thing out of it. [>:]
I have close to $30k into my Fatboy..... Why would I want to skimp on a $ 100.00 windshield bag? The bag Ibought matches the seat and my saddlebags. Its only money. I dont want my bike to look ghetto. But thanks for the suggestion.
That's right, chrome wont get you home, nor will I belive the $30 grand fatty. Even the dealership wouldn't rob you that bad having mods done there, but I do all my own work so I some times overlook the$65 to$85 an hour that most people have to pay. Still, at a $18 grand list price, show me $12,000 worth of extras!
I will agree with you on one thing, I will definately go with the stock HD saddlebage. I know they'll fit, and they will git right. I do intend on installing the RK Tour Pack. Maybe put some subwoofer action with a LCD/DVD player for the kids. Just kiddin.
You've got those bags, are they lockable?
Hey I Cut 1,
I bet that after taxes and all the other crap, Mikef's out the door pricing was probably over 20gs
Backpack, tubing routed thru a cooler of ice, simultaneously mixing with coke, conveniently routed up the customized strapping along the back, snaked thru the collar and wa-la........Jack & Coke on the go!!!!
Thanks for the suggestions right now I am looking at one of the roll style sissy bar bags.It will hold most of what I want.I like the HD saddlebags or the Ironbags but at that price I can save a little more and get some wheels(ok a lot more).I travel light most of the time, its when the wife is with me I really need the extra space.
