Default Fix My Hog?

Just wondering if anyone has used these Fix My Hog DVDs before. Seems promising. I can wrench on cars, but if this video can help translate my cars skills into bike skills Ill be a happy guy!

Any opinions? And yes I have the service manual. Im lazy.

I have the service manual and the Fix My Hog DVD. I think the Expert Village series on motorcycle maintenance is also handy.

I watched the touring DVD and found it helpful enough to buy the softail version. I was kind of disappointed as it had less on it for me than the touring edition.

Any information is good and helps, but I really wanted to see the fork tear down and maintenance which is on the touring but not softail edition. I was hoping it would have the fork/front tire fall away and torque adjustment and I wanted to see how he aligned the rear tire. None of these are on the softail edition.

I might purchase the touring instead of the softail edition.

That's why I chose not to buy it and went insteadwith "just" the service manual. I expected the DVD to be more comprehensive.

Pretty much what I was looking for. Just want to find how to adjust the final drive belt and I think my maintenance checks and adjustments are complete!

I have the softail version and it's pretty basis, best bet would be to get a factory repair manual.

Just received the Fix My Hog dvd (Softail)&nbsp\\;yesterday, watched it.&nbsp\\; My take on it,&nbsp\\; It is just a&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;visual basic supplement to the HD Shop Manuel.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; I would have liked to have seen wheel removal and reinstallation procedures.&nbsp\\; Some information on wheel balance procedures would have been valuable, including spoke tightening.&nbsp\\;

I also have the softail version. Wish it had Springer information and wheel removal/axle spacing.
