Default Fix My Hog DVD

Where can I find all the comments on this DVD? A search finds the reference but few comments on the DVD's value.

BTW -- I have the Service Manual for my Softail.

I have the Touring edition DVD and I think it was very well done. You can't beat it for $44 or whatever it was.

A picture IS worth a thousand words. The price is well worth it.

I have Softail edition, that along with the manual is great. You can read the manual but actually seeing it being done you know you can follow the same steps and it helps you understand better.

Yea, the manual is a must, but you will get so much more from actually watching how something is done.

It really depends on how much experience you have doing basic maintenance. If you know how to change the fluids, plugs and the brakes the Dvd isn't going to show much more than you already know. If you're new to it then it can be very helpful in pointing out certain things you need to know, tools, clutch adjustment, belt adjustment, electrical check, etc. Like I said it depends on what you already know.

Just got the Sportster edition. Very well done and gave me the basics of what i need to do basic maintenance. While the manual is a great "tool" the video lets you see it visually of how it should be done and what it should look like after it's done correctly.
