Just wondering if anyone has used these Fix My Hog DVDs before. Seems promising. I can wrench on cars, but if this video can help translate my cars skills into bike skills Ill be a happy guy!
Any opinions? And yes I have the service manual. Im lazy.
I watched the touring DVD and found it helpful enough to buy the softail version. I was kind of disappointed as it had less on it for me than the touring edition.
Any information is good and helps, but I really wanted to see the fork tear down and maintenance which is on the touring but not softail edition. I was hoping it would have the fork/front tire fall away and torque adjustment and I wanted to see how he aligned the rear tire. None of these are on the softail edition.
I might purchase the touring instead of the softail edition.

Pretty much what I was looking for. Just want to find how to adjust the final drive belt and I think my maintenance checks and adjustments are complete!
Just received the Fix My Hog dvd (Softail) \\;yesterday, watched it. \\; My take on it, \\; It is just a \\; \\;visual basic supplement to the HD Shop Manuel. \\; \\; \\; I would have liked to have seen wheel removal and reinstallation procedures. \\; Some information on wheel balance procedures would have been valuable, including spoke tightening. \\;
