HD does not offer any of their paint codes to the usual paint shops (PPG, DuPont, etc). \\; Typically with HD, you can buy paint right through them by just giving them your VIN number, at (from what I've seen) pretty reasonable prices. \\;
If the color is a simple basecoat (like the black cherry I just sprayed the other day) then about any local paint shop can use their "prophet" machine and take a reading, and mix paint to match. \\; Some colors, like the blue dresser I just did, require what's called a "tri-coat" where a basecoat color is sprayed first, and then a candy finish is applied over that. \\; Those are the ones that can not be "read" by scanning them for a paint code, and you generally are better off getting the paint from HD.
Glad to hear your situation worked out!

You might try and give this place a call. They have been making custom spray cans of automotive paint for many years. Maybe they can do paint for bikes. They also do custom matching. If they can help let me know. I have a blue Rocker also.
