Well I bought this Nacelle off eBay a couple months ago. Lady told me that it came off a Heritage and needed a "couple bolts and nuts" to be complete. So I open the box yesterday to find three really nice chrome pieces and that is it! For anyone that has ever messed with one of these things knows how many "bolts and nuts" there really are.......lol

Thanks to CrawdadAZ for sending me the instruction sheets with the parts lists After going over every detail, I had to order almost another $100 in "nuts and bolts". As my BIL keeps telling me, "you get what you pay for". So time I get all the little stuff I need to install this thing, I could have bought a brand new one from HD.

Anyone else do as I and try getting "GOOD DEALS" on your add ons?

 

Unless you absolutely know what your bidding on, don't waste your money.

 

I have bought several used parts and have had mostly good results. Also, I have found that people tend to be more honest on forums such as this than on eBay...

 

I guess someone has to keep the economy going...lol

Thought I would get some parts together to switch the tins today. So far it is not going good either. Bought brand new tank from HD in the '04 pearl white, took it out of box and it is not even close to the new fenders I had bought in July!

I do have the '04 tank that does match, but it is for EFI, and I have a carb So now I am off to see what I can come up with to make it work. Not having a good day off. To cold to ride and nothing going together the way I imagined it would.
