Looking for a solo seat for my 2007 FXST. Like the Mammoth Choppers Sloth, but does anyone know if it lowers the seat position? Bare Bones looks good but for long rides? Any input would be great.

 

I have the bare bones and like it. Yes, lowers the seat hight. Comfortable on long rides? Depends what your definition of a long ride is..... I personally have no issues with it. YMMV.

 

The Bare Bones is the best looking.............But it is a Brick. I use a Danny Gray for trips and the bare bones locally

 

I have the LePera Silhouette solo with gel...moves you down and back so you can stretch out...I get lots of compliments, and the gel makes all the difference in the world...I can stay in the saddle all day, no problem...
