Which seat would you guys suggest for looks and or comfort?

Replacing the seat on my heritage.



Silhouette Solo

OR......



Bare Bones Solo

The bares bones is NOT for comfort.

They both look good, but neither one is comfortable.

I rawk the solo, i think its comfortable but some dont. If you have air ride it doesnt matter which you get really.

Are they really that bad? How about for 100 mile rides? No one over here in the UK seems to have much experience of these seats.

Ok then, opinions on looks?

My only complaint about my bare bones is that I slide off the back of the seat too easy. It needs a little more support for your back. Other than that, I think it's just fine. Done 300/400 mile rides no problem.

500 mile days are no problem with this seat. Never have tried a LaPera.

I don't really care bout looks, Can't see it when I sit on it anyway.

For comfort, IMO it'd be hard to beat the stock seat.

I call this my 50 mile bike. The apes and seat make it very uncomfortable. I've done a 250 mile day on it and I was sore for awhile. And it has an air ride.
The bare bones is not more than a Pleather cover over a metal pan
