Default Horse Power improvement

I have the 2012 Slim (FLS 103) and only have new slip ons right now. Wondering your thoughts on a big sucker kit and a Vance&Hines Fuelkit for mapping.

Any 7-9 HP gains from this?

the big sucker is nice, i've run one for 2 years now with only 1 problem..i over tightened one of the banjo bolts and cracked the backplate..was my fault, and only a tiny crack that hasn't expanded or moved or anything.. but I don't think I had a 7-9HP gain from it.. and i'm not sure how many benefits you'll get from running one with slip-ons..

If your going to get a tuner get the power vision, you can really do a lot with it and it isn't a piggy back system.

Perfect!!..Any Hi Flow air intake will work, Harley's Screamin Eagle intake works as good as V&H Big Sucker. As far as mapping goes, Absolutly go with the V&H FuelPak, I have it on my Harley and it works flawless, no issues at all, plus I'm running a Big Bore with Cam's. I had it put on the Dyno at a Harley Dealer to check HP numbers and air/fuel ratios, the machanic told me the he could not Tune any better then what I have. Don't waste your time and money on the other dyno tuners, these are a waste unless your running your bike at the Drag strip. Good Luck!

Yes, there's no reason why anybody can't gain 10-15% increase in both HP and TQ with almost any Stage 1 modification. You should have no problem reaching your goal with whichever tuner or Stage 1 intake you choose.

Combine the Fuel Pac with the XIEDS and as long as you aren't planning any more performance mods you should be good to go. If you do plan more in the future then look into a better tuner.

Most any High Perf A/C will be 2x what U need to have unless U do BIG BB kit and a really good head job..

As far as V&H FuelPac,, it don't do any mapping, All it does is trick Ur EMC and changes Ur A/F ratio.. Its not a Tuner.

A Fuel Pac can't change Ur timing a bit nor can it adjust from front to rear cyl, it can't adjust Ur A/F at different throttle levels or different RPM's either.

Average STG1 with a good tuner and Dyno around here will net u 5-10% on TQ and HP.. That little amount it barely noticed in the butt Dyno..

U need the stg1, plus some cams that meets Ur riding style and build to really wake her up.
