Default Can I change fuel gauge?

I want to change out the fuel gauge on my '10 Crossbones for the Skull LED gauge. Is this a do it yourself mod? If so, how do I remove the old gauge? Thanks in advance.

The new gauge will have directions for removing the stock one. It's not a big job.

Takes 30 minutes....seems like the trickiest part (although not really tricky) was removing the stock wire plug (so the old wires will pull through the conduit in the tank) then putting on the new/included wire plug after you slide your new wires down the conduit.....the new gauge/cap just snaps in.

When you pull the pins out. Pay attention to the orientation when you pull them from the connector.

They will only go in right one way.

Your stock fuel guage just lifts up out of the tank twist it a little and pull.
The wires go straight down and come out under the tank and then have a plug. The plug should be attached to the frame under the tank by a clip.
You just need to lift the tank a few inches to gain access to the plug. Its easy, if you have some mechanical skills.
Here are the instructions.
