i have same issue , i put some clear 3 M film on my fender , seems to help. Someone else said you can put a bigger rubber stopper on the frame were the swingarm hits , im sure that will affect the ride. I love the seat too , how is yours for the metal tab fitting in under the tank? mine seems sloppy , any advice there?

Softail shocks need to be turned counter clockwise to increase preload and stiffen them up, you turn them clock wise to make the ride softer. Try turning the adjuster a half a turn counter clockwise and see how that works for you. Just do small adjustments at a time and make sure both are adjusted the same until it stops hitting and the ride is still comfortable. You will know you went to far when it starts riding like a rigid.

this is the first time i reply so i hope i do it right.you said you put 3m film on you fender did you not like the clear film the dg seat came with. i did not put it on yet just wondering why you did not use it.did you adjust you shock absorbers and did it help, can you have the fender not hit and have decent ride or is it to stiff

I weigh 210 and I took my first ride without the clear tape and when i got back I had some light scuffing from the seat. I then immediately put the clear film on it and it hasn't damaged the paint or ripped through the film.
Film should do it unless you are really hitting the fender, the tighten it up.
I recommend the film any way if you get a Danny Gray since it wont hurt the paint.
