Default service info

i know that in the touring forum, there are several guys who have made spreadsheets up with all the services required at each interval. is there anyone here who has done the same for a 2004 softail (deuce)?

also, can someone give me the capacities for the engine/primary/tranny on this bike?

a buddy of mine is wanting to do his own service and cut the cord from the dealership. unfortunately, when he bought this bike, he did not even get an owners manual.

thanks

Still should be able to find a service manual. A necessity for what you want to do.

he knows it's worth the money, he just hasn't gotten it yet and he wants to get this service done. and he probably won't have it by next week.

thanks oct1949, little different than what i was looking for, but will definitely work in the interim.

anybody wanna give up the capacities?

The info is available on the HD site:

Just register. You do not need a HOG membership number.

Or you can check out this link: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/8515645-post4.html has the pictures and amounts needed for a 2005, should be similar for a 2004.

come on guys, is it really so hard to say, 3.5qts for the engine, 1 qt for the primary, and 1 qt for the tranny (or whatever they are)?
