I have an '06 Nightrain FXSTB. Last year of the 88ci. Also last year of the Carbs and the first year of the 200mm rear tire from the factory.

How can I find out how many of these were made in '06 with the same setup? I would imagine not many due to the demand for EFI, am I wrong? Help is appreciated...

I agree with you bro, but I'm wanting to do either some major mods to it, or build a bike from scratch. I don't want to eff up an original bike no more than what I already have. I want to do a 124" kit or whole engine, but not to that bike if it is rare. I bought it new and it was hard to find then.

 

Yea bro I feel you but even if it was kind of rare, you have to wait like 20-30 years to profit from it's rarity.

 

It's not rare, but call HD and they should be able to tell you

 

I've looked for numbers of bikes made and its not easy to find, in fact I don't think most who look do find the NO's on most models. just total #'s produced each yr..

Look at ebay, Night Trains aren't selling for squat right now. I know, one of them is mine. Prices are low and likely to stay that way for awhile. Do what you want with it but be forewarned, it's not the collectibility you need to worry about, it's the money you'll pour into it that you'll never get back.
