Default Mid controls for 2016 48.

I know there are threads on this but they're at least 2 years old.

I would like to put some mid controls on the 48. I'm seeing the Roland Sands kits but the cheaper ones say they're only for up to year 2013? Does anyone have a good place to get them currently?

How long have you been riding the 48? The controls on the 48 are not that forward. When I bought mid controls even before I bought the bike but then I realized they are not that forward and sold the mids.

The rear master cylinder changed in 14'. RSD is coming out with one for later years. You can get mids off an 883 Iron 14' and up. I did and loved the change.

I've put 2800 miles on the bike so far. It's not that I don't like them, but I'm planning on throwing on some clubman bars as well.

You can use mids from 2003-2013 but u have to buy the mid control rear brake pushrod. #50600091 cause it slides into rear bar instead of the earlier ones that bolt on both ends. The link below is for a 2014 883 with mid controls and all the part numbers.

What’s up baller sooo right under your bike where the presumed mid controls would go are 2 rubber seals. Simply grab a lil screwdriver give it a good push in and boom, remove little rubber piece with pic or pliers and you should be good

Not sure why Harley didn't spend the extra $.25 to make the brake adjustable. You could also cut and thread your existing rod to make it adjustable if you have the tools.
