Chrome mesh filter review
Has anyone installed this on their bike? I have a 04 Sportster and I love the look of this or a round one like it...reviews, comments about this please...

If that is anything like the old car versions we used to run, the element is a simple layer of relatively thin foam you oil up. I remember a backfire could start the element on fire, and it would basically melt down into the carb. I think those were Weiand brand triangular things. We used to run them, but I doubt I would run one now, since I think you can get a better filter. But if you like the looks, you can give it a shot. See if you can get replacement elements for it.
