Default Can you identify these pipes? 1999 Sporty 1200 XLC

And no, they are not Supertrapp....have confirmed with the company.

Bought this bike second hand....the only problem is the pipes that came with the bike had no heat shield and hence are blueing real bad. I'd like to call the company to see if they have the heat shields but can't figure out the make.

Can you?

Appreciate any help. And no, I don't want to buy new pipes as the these are actually a pretty good set (minus the blueing).

they kinda look like roadster pipes, kinda like the factory ones, the screamin eagle ones have a different looking muffler.. does the tip of the muffler look cut?

They are similar to the 883r pipe but if you look very closely you'll see that the front and back headers merge at a different angle when comparing the two pipes. Also the rear header of each pipe has a slightly different bend. I'd say it's not an 883r pipe. That's all I got, don't know what pipe it is.

That's funny, I have very similar pipes on my Sporty, but I don't know what they are either. Mine have the smoother bend in then similar to the Roadster pipes, but the heat shields say V&H. I think the cone is a different brand. Is confusing the crap out of me.

Don't mean to hijack your thread, but its not worth starting a new one to have the same question.
