I've put on my XLC a 7" Fatboy headlight, bought in second hand, fitted it on a home made bracket, which was shaped from a barn door hinge, bought at the local DIY shop:

If you want to use the mount that came with the Drag Specialties light , here's the mods needed.

You can see that the mount has to be relieved on the back at the bottom.
I cut the mount in 1/4" and 5/8" tall on the backside.
This mounts the headlight higher and farther back than the stock lower mount.
The kit doesn't come with the required bolt for the bottom mount (underneath).
The stock bolt is coarse thread and the DS is fine thread.
I used a 3/8 x 24 x 1 1/4" socket head screw with the original lock washer on mine.
Mick
I might try that...
I'm using H-D's dual bulb halogen in a Softail Slim/Fat Boy Lo shell.

Pipes on the way Mike. What about that filter. Is that a screaming eagle with a different cover?
