Try a sheep skin cover to help with the heat

Check out beads here. I haven't tried them but from those who have, I understand they work well for heat.

Have tried the BEADS on my past Putts... They worked well & seemed to keep the air flow under our butt... But don't know how well they may work with the gel pad???

I have an '07 UC, also. I put Kuryakin heat shields on mine. They help keep the heat off my legs tremendously. Harley sells some also, but the Kuryakin's look better to me. I'm not sure if that would help the gel padded seat. My seat is still stock...

I use a $.94 tied string door mat from wally world. Dont laugh it works. Its made of strips of polyester/nylon in multi colors. I also have stage 1 V&H ovals and JRS Originals heat shields. I also powder the backside really well, But we wont go there!!! After you get 10k miles the heat will slow down a little.. Ride safe. Dan
