That question is like asking what make truck is the best.
Everyone will say theirs is the best... or most will. Everyone's backside is different and expectations of comfort is different. Maybe someone will chime in who had/tried multiple ones.
Now my answer; I have had Corbin Classic Solos with riders backrest on my last two bikes and they work great for me. I can ride all day with no issues. Also 2-3 week trips are a non issue. Rider backrest is key.

1.) first pull your seat and see if the fender paint is damaged from the old seat grinding grit.
I ( 6'1"+) had a HD brawler solo, good for around town, but I didn;t use for more than a few hours at a time.
it wasn;t the seat, it was the position of my legs straining my hips- the further back and lower ( about 1 & 1 from a streetglide seat) required me to light my leg from the hip, rotate out and drop down at a stop- rather than lifting foot at the knee and dropping down.
here's a pic of the brawler on my 09, you can compare seatig position using crash bars as a reference
Years ago, I made a promise to Mike Corbin that I would share my Corbin experience with other riders whenever I get the chance.
I bought a premium seat and it was hard as heck- 45 minutes and I'd be numb.
I called and they said "don;t worry it'll break in, give it a few months and call back if you don;t like it".
after a few months of pain- which included my wife banging on my back saying let me off
I called back and Corbin said 'too late" ( WTF!)
after about 14 months the covering started to crack-Corbin said "sun exposure" we won;t cover it.
1.) they sell their products in CA and AZ- Sunny
2.) they are made for vehicles exposed to the sun
3.) I park in a garage and when in the sun, my rear provides the shade.
so not a fan of Corbin. Mike Corbin didn;t return calls, so in my (unanswered) letter to him I made a promise...

I went with a LePera Outcast DaddyLonglegs seat w/backrest. It moves you back about 2" from the stock position.

I have three seats for my '07 SG. My solo is a Mustang Solo with backrest. I like this seat. I can ride all day without undue discomfort. I think riding for long periods of time takes training. I mean if you start riding longer you will over time be able to do it more comfortably. The stock SG seat was the worse seat I've ever had on any motorcycle.
