RE: Solo Seat-Tour Pack
I also used the harley solo kit...but I have a Corbin close solo and have no fitment issues. I think another member, iclick, uses a mustang seat with backrest and it fits fine with the solo kit. Here's a pic...bikes pretty dirty since we were on \\;\\\\\\;vacation. \\;\\\\\\; Melanie

RE: Solo Seat-Tour Pack
i had to buy a new seat (c &\\; c solo) to use mine. \\; my classic solo would not fit! \\; i think corbin has changed the manufacturing of the seat to where the seat post is now in the front, mine is in the rear and all the locking mechanism stuff is what caused my solo rack not to fit. \\; on another note, i found that even in the furthest back position, the tour pak was still too far forward for me. \\; so i ordered the george anderson tour pak relocation kit that he sells and moved the tour pak back another 1-1/4 inches and it is great now.

I have the Mustang Solo w/backrest and the HD detachable solo set up. \\; It fits just fine with a 1/4 inch of clearance between the backrest and the King Tour Pak. \\; If you want more clearance, you will need an aftermarket adjustable solo rack or similar system.

RE: Solo Seat-Tour Pack
I have the corbin solo seat and had to have the HD detachable bracket modified for it to fit. A friend who does metal work cut the front of the piece so it would fit the seat. I also bought the new Kuryakyn relocation kit so that the backrest didn't hit the tour pak. I think the mustang seat with backrest fits the bracket but I would still have gotten the relocation kit to have the pack a little farther back.
