I am in southeastern florida where temps this time of year are pretty warm. I'm currently running HD straight 60 weight. I've also got the baisley or LMR-004 spring for extra oil pressure installed.

roller lifters are inherently noisy. increase lift and you might increase noise that telegraphs up the pushrods to the valve rockers. add a fairing to a Road King and for a while you will think the engine is coming apart.

With all the time and money you put in your current motor, I would just run it.

That $2700++ cash you'd spend on a rebuild would be better put towards a new bike. in my most humble opinion.

As I understand it, when an engine goes in for a factory reman, any upgrades that have been done will not or may not come back with the eng. I'm told they go back to factory stock unless you are having the 95 in. done which can only be done on the injected engs. due to emmissions regs. I agree with the others that your mileage is pretty early for a reman. Mine had 119,000+ before I had the reman. done. Good luck with whatever choice you make.
