Default S&S 510's with B4 and after Dyno

I recently installed S&S 510 cams in my 09 SG. I was pleasantly surprised by how much more power there seemed to be. I finally got it Dyno'd.
There are 2 runs on this sheet. The lower one is my original dyno after stage 1 (mufflers, air cleaner, SERT). The second reading is after cams were installed and true duals added. The true duals probably reduce the number.
Stage 1 = 75.4 HP and 83.8 torque.
Above + Cam's 83.3 HP and 95 TQ.
plus 8 HP and 11 TQ.
Not bad. I especially like how well it pulls thru the whole power band.

Is it me, or does the money spent and the hp/tq gained...doesn't seem to even out? Sure does cost a lot to get a little.

That is a real nice looking torque curve and a good tune.
Have fun riding.

Runs look good and I would say are pretty consistent with what we see here for a similar build. Note, I would use this comparison as a general guideline only as the runs were done a year an half apart

yea I hear ya. I just saying cause we just got done installing Andrew cams with S & S gear drive on my dads bike and it cost $1000. Makes me wonder how much hp/tq gain he will get. We eliminated the cam tensioners...so that's a plus!

10% increase....what did it cost?

I worked a pretty good deal. I did it at the same time as my 10k service and there was a winter special at the dealership.
Which Andrew's cam did you use?
