I have docking points for std backrest and for my RKC Tour Pack (4 points). If I purchase a single seat can the Tour Pack mount over the rear fender as a driver backrest?

Planning a 4 - 5 day trip to San Bernardino/Death Valley/back home through Vegas area parks for November. Hers will get the large pack for luggage and backrest. Hoping the Tour Pack can move up for me.

 

I've seen it done on a Heritage.

 

I think I am going to call George Anderson. I searched and found several who have moved up their King Packs on EG's, RG's, etc but none on a Road King so far.

 

there is a "solo tour -pak mount" that to my best research mounts on your forward mounting points...

This is the solo chopped tour pak I had on my 08' SG. IT'S FOR SALE TOO! I am also selling the luggage that you see on the rack ( not on the list yet but, will sell for $100 incl shipping). See the classifieds.

 

That's what we are hoping to put together. The rack won't work as I have a RKC tour pack. Hoping to snag a Kuryakan tall pack and put it on the wife's RKC pillon with the backrest we switch between bikes. Then put a solo seat on mine and the pack relocator to move it up behind me. I think this will give us a great set-up for long travel on the 2 scoots. All it takes is $$.
