I installed a 23" on my Road Glide, I used the stock H-D trees from the trike and the rest of the parts are stock!

My friend is riding an 08 SG with a 23" front... he didnt change a thing to the rake, trees, etc... all stock except the wheel, tire, rotors, & fender... he just put approx 450 miles on it during Bike Week with no problems... and he had it well over 100mph more than once. I myself dont care for the 23" without the rake because it looks to tall in the front but from what I have seen... it can be done without the rake-headache.

i have his 9 degree with rake block kit, as far as i know they wont sell you them with out the rake block kit. i had to sign a few waivers. yaffe uses the hhi one. 23" will fit with out rake but it looks squished IMO. my 26" fits on stock rake (lowered 1.5 from 21") , but i wouldn't ride with it that way.
I should be cutting my frame hopefully in the next week or 2.
cell pic with wheel on - no rake - was curious how much goofier it would look with out a rake.

trike trees 23"... 26"
So if I were to buy this triple tree from JP it would bolt on and give me decent handling with out a nasty wobble? (23 inch tire)

Also, does anyone think that I could run a 26 on the trike trees for a couple months till I can find a shop to do the frame rake of an additional 5-7 degrees??
