AME Chopper kit
Maybe it cause I got too much time on my hands (bike is STILL in the shop), but I am thinking about doing the ame chopper kit and 14 over fork tubes (i am 6 over now, and 8 over is correct for the 14 degree kit and stock rear shocks, so 8+6=14 would be the correct length to keep the stance, right?). Just looking for some input from anyone who has done one of these kits before.

Takle a look there. \\; Some intersting info regarding rake/trail, and those type of kits.

I did a 14 degree, Wide Glide with 8 over tubes and its about a half inch taller than stock.
The kit has the rake and trail built in, mine handles much better than stock.
People are always puttin' this kit down with rake and trail speak, they should understand the kit before they shoot of their mouths.

Slip, no one is shooting their mouths off. We only suggested to keep trail in mind when looking to rake a front end. You need to settle down and lay off the caffeine.
You can watch a video install of the Seeger kit at this page. Just scroll a bit down the page and you'll see the link.

Looks like AME added a 49mm option for the newer beefier front ends. That is a nice kit. Wish I had the 2000+ to do it. Seeger does not offer such an option. Also, check out the 65mm inverted fork option at AME. AWESOME.
