Default Front End Rake Kit

Hi all,
Am thinking about installing the AME front end rake kit 9 degree with 4" stretch on my 04 LR. Anybody out there already with one? If so how about handling and any recommendations? For $3K you get the kit, new chrome lowers, brake caliper and the installation kit. Looks mighty good, but I still want my scooter to handle well.

Peace,
G

I have the 14 degree Wide Glide kit with 8 over tubes.
It handles way better than stock, the stock setup felt a little like driving a wheelbarrow.
It takes more room to turn around now, but ya get used to that.

I did my kit install in about 10 hours.

Yes. The tree is not solid, and has a special heim joint. I watched an install online. Not that difficult.

Go to the AME website, they explain it all.

I've been watching their site. They even have them on Fat Boys. I want to see the Fat Bob kit!
Good luck with yours,
Tim

I see what they are doing. Still seems pricey.

I got mine for $450 shipped with 41mm tubes, chrome lowers, hidden axle, etc. Yes, I still have to buy brake lines and calipers, but still... there's quite a price difference once you add all AME's options

I don't believe they are model specific. You purchase the kit by what rake you want and go from there.
