Andrews 26's here. Dyno results pending. They seem to come on between 2800 and 4000 rpm very nicely. Can't wait to get it dialed in. Don't care about top end numbers just want to put the power and torque where I ride. These cams seem to be a good choice for a twin cam 88 with stock heads to achieve that. They also allow for the addition of 95" pistons later. Warranty? Oh well the stock configuration from the factory pretty much sucks unfortunately. Good luck with your build.

The SE 203 are strickly bolt in cams. The Andrews TW-26 will better suite you. Power will be between 1500-5500. No need to change tappets or springs. The tappet assemblies that are a stock in your bike are the identical ones used in the new Jim's 120 engine with SE 251 cams. They will work just fine. Springs will promote higher Rpm's but your cam will run out before this happens. Cams, Pushrods, gaskets, change inner cam bearings to Torringtons, enjot. Should se close to 80HP.

Just for your info guys, here's the numbers on some of the most popular cams that I found. Not all guys show the lift on the exhaust, so I didn't include it.

Name .................... intake...... exhaust......lift

Andrews 26..............226........... 262..........490
Head quarters 34......236...........250...........500
SE 203's..................234...........239.......... .510
Black Widow BW39...228...........238...........495
V Thunder 557T.......242...........242............557
Crane 3001.............306...........306............505

Looks to me that the head quarters wins this one. A nice safe lift, both decent intake and exhaust duration, and from what I've read so far, a good grind.

They are certainly quite respectable! Here's a blurb from the HQ site:
______________
NEWS FLASH!!!! John’s Performance gets 92.4 HP and 96.4 foot pounds of torque from a stock 88 cubic inch 2006 Street Glide using a Head Quarters HQ-0034 bolt in cam, Power Commander and Rhinehart Tru-Duals. Great work John!!
______________

I can tell you from personal experience that their HQ-0039's are AWESOME! I would certainly expect nothing less from the 34's. Call Doug @ HQ and chat w/him about them.....

For whatever it is worth, I have an '03 Ultra, 95" and SE203. I am getting about 99TQ and 80HP.

Most TQ hits at about 3k then dies about 5.7k. The bike is a little soft below 3k, but when I am on the freeway at 70mph (3k) and crack the throttle, she really gets up and goes......100mph quick.

Not completely satisified...but I am probably a power junkie.

I'm looking to change it....SS570 or HQ0039....not sure yet.

Thats what I've heard that the 203's come in to late for a bagger and the people that ride 2 up really don't seem to like them much[:@] other than they can pass better now.
