I am trying to remove the outing fairing to replace the speakers and stereo. I was wondering if anyone has a step by step of how to do it on one of the older fairings.

 

Oh boy, been a while. Your head light comes out, the head light mount than comes out. Un bolt your running light bar at the sides of the forks & set them down on your front fender on a rag.
look through the head light hole to your left & right. You will see a bracket with 2 nuts on either side. Kinda tight to get in there but I got big hands & I did it!
At this point, I think it pop's off. Might be stuck a lil on the inside fairing but just lightly pull at it & off it comes!
