Default unplugging head light

Hi was wondering i was changing my speakers on my 2011 street glide and took the outer fairing off and was trying to unplug the head light and could not get unplugged so i ended up putting a blanket on the fender and resting the outer fairing on the fender changed the speakers and put back together is there some special trick to unplugging the head light?thx

No real trick to it, should unplug from the back of the light with no problem...might take a little work the first time if the faring has never been off.

Not that I've encountered. Just pull it off. I always put a dab of dielectric grease on before reassembling.

If memory serves me right don't you have to squeeze a certain spot to disconnect the headlight
