Street Glide Gas Tank Removal
#11
Not to hijack the thread, but is it possible to fish wires through that under tank wire cover/raceway without removing the tank?
I'm about to install some lower fairing speakers and thought about doing this after I saw this thread. My tour pack speaker wires are rolled up under the seat and I thought it might be an alternative to splicing them at the radio.

It really only takes about 5 minutes to lift your tank up enough to pull the tray cover off and lay the wire properly in there.
AN extra pair of hands comes in real handy though.
