How are you guys removing the gas tank with the hose at the front between the halves of the tank ? I was going to cut the 'clip' off and use a different clip when re-assembly time comes. Just wondered if there was another way...b.
Someone here was kind enough to point out that you can get them for a little bit less direct from the manufacturer (cggorman, I think), but I couldn't find the link right now...
I think this will eliminate the need to drain the tank for removal.
There is a line across the front of the tank. The connectors on each side are one time crimp. Come up with something for them. The tank is actually welded and not halves.
Hose clamps. Don't be a monkey tightening and crush the tubing.
You can buy the pliers and bands as well if you prefer the factory style.
In a ah carp moment piece of thin wire, bailing wire looped around and twisted tight with pliers .
If hose feels as it glued on,just buy some more hose, cut it and get the tank off then split the hose off the tubing nipples. Might save a headache in long run.

Actually knew that, just couldn't think how to write my question describing the hose without 'halves'...b.

Hose clamps all the way man, just wondering if there was a 'trick' to the job...b.
