I know that Indian is going through this same problem with their tan seats. They turn an ugly yellow/green color when exposed to sunlight.

I saw this when we took demo rides in Laughlin. You could really tell how badly they had faded if you opened up one of the saddle bags.

They just recently released a salve to restore them, but the owners are super upset with this.They must rub the stuff on every few months, and it takes a lot of work.

Believe they will shortly change to a different leather for the 15 models.

In your case, I would agree with everyone else, don't experiment on your own. Corbin will know more about your options than anyone else.
