Nitrogen fill

I am in the compressed air business. We attempted to get in to the Nitrogen tire fill market. One of the things I learned was that to get the purity level needed, the dew point of the compressed air has to be relatively low to begin with. Secondly, around 190 PSIG of compressed air is needed. Most tire shops have neither 190 PSIG or a low dew point. The only other option is bottled N2. Not sure how you would test the purity level of bottled N2.

My dealer recommends a blend of 80% nitrogen 20% oxygen. He says that even though it's more work for him to create the blend he still only charges me 80% of the cost of a regular nitrogen fill.

Now, if you could figure out how to get 1% inert gasses in there you would have a winner. Oh, Wait.....
