Building up a bike can be exciting. This is especially true when the ride means something to you. Maybe it was owned by a parent, passed on from a friend, or has just been great to you over the years.

Whatever the reason, it is certainly valid. Builds mean different things to different people, but there is no doubt that a sentimental build has a bit more intrigue to it as compared to say, planning to flip the ride when it’s done. Of course, a cool bike is a cool bike!

HDForums member Josewales has been working on his build for quite some time, and one might say that it means something to him. Of course, everyone’s first Harley-Davidson motorcycles has to mean something! Josewales’s first hog was a 2011 Harley-Davidson Fatboy Low, and he still owns it ’til this day.

He’s been working on it steadily over the last few years, and it’s come quite a long way. Most recently he added custom fitted saddlebag guards, painted the taillight base black, straightened and centered the pipes, and put on a Cee Bailey’s 16″ smoked black replacement windshield. This ride definitely looks outstanding!
