2012 Road King Will Have You Feeling Gangster
Badass bike with a $5,000 paint job is packed with instant street cred.
Some people build bikes to ride. Others build them to show off. But when you ride a rolling show piece like this 2012 Road King, you instantly gain large amounts of street credit. That’s kind of thing you can expect when you hop on a motorcycle built to make a lasting impression.
A lasting impression is what you’ll make when you roll on a bike with a $5,000 paint job! That’s what it takes to lay down a heavily metal flaked Root Beer and Pageon Gold masterpiece. Combine that with the chrome parts, and you’ve got a bike that’ll burn retinas wherever it goes.
The next thing you’ll undoubtedly notice is the wheels. Up front you’ve got a 21″ twisted spoke piece with matching rotors. Out back is a slightly smaller 18″ twisted spoke wheel. but both are mounted on white wall tires, of course.
The front and rear fenders have been upgraded to those from a Street Glide, with 4″ extended saddle bags out back. It’s impossible to list everything that’s been chromed, but shiny bits include the front lower fork legs, floorboard covers, and basically the entire engine. It certainly looks incredible!
Exhaust fumes are handled by a Samson fishtail exhaust, and all the lines are stainless steel. The switch housings and switches are all custom, as you’d expect. The sweet-looking ride sits low courtesy of a 1″ front and 3″ rear drop.
It all adds up to one wild ride that is equally at home on the show circuit or a local meet-up. Is it any wonder why it recently quickly sold for nearly $23,000 on eBay, which is a steal in our book!
