Bikers in the Kentucky region have the opportunity to not only enjoy a great day of riding and friendship, but to also help local a local children’s organization during the 20th annual Great Teddy Bear Run (GTBR). Happening April 27 in Bowling Green, the event benefits the Barren River Area Child Advocacy Center.

The route ends at Harley-Davidson Bowling Green. There, riders will be served lunch provided by Outback Steakhouse. A raffle will also be held to benefit the Barren River Area Child Advocacy Center. Prizes include $500 cash and Harley-Davidson gift cards.

It is the mission of the Barren River Area Child Advocacy Center to reduce trauma to child abuse victims by providing a safe, child-friendly location where teams of professionals work together to pursue justice and offer treatment. Children receive services at no expense to the family. Last year, the center served over 600 children, noted WBKO news.

“Every rider who comes out to support the GTBR can ride away afterwards know[ing] their time and contribution made an immediate difference for children in our regional community,” says Harley-Davidson Bowling Green on their events calendar.
