This aft. whilst riding I came across three-three wheelers in oncoming traffic, I waved, which was not responded to, wonder why? Are they a new exclusive group?
I recently seen a post on another form from a non- Harley rider who rides a metric suggesting Harley riders are rude and not nice folks as he seldom gets a wave from someone on a Harley...
I could not get his post out of my mind as I thought 30 years of me owning and riding a Harley am I missing something I may would see if I was riding another bike?
So for the next few weeks my "two finger down" salute became something I gave more thought to...
My take is IF someone waves or Not has zero to do with what the other is riding, Heck with my old eyes and passing a bike going the other direction is sometimes impossible to tell what brand of bike it even is!
I can tell if it has a single headlight or also has passing lamps and I guess I could not miss the 3 wheels but its as simple IF I'm looking right not left at the time, perhaps i'm tired or lost thinking about something but IMO some folks wave, some don't but has zero to do with what bike someone is riding...
I do kinda draw the line at Moped and Scooter riders but I have been know to give the "drunks" some love too...
