Venom motorcycle helmet

It’s the perfect time of year to put a little hell in your helmet.

We all know that there is no accessory more important than a good helmet. And if you want to add a little edge, a helmet is the perfect canvas. Of course, with Halloween around the corner, it’s also a perfect time to get your freakshow on.

We scoured the internet for the coolest, craziest, and spookiest helmets we could find. An added bonus is that all of these are DOT approved. So you can wear these year round and keep safe, while freaking everyone out. Win-win!

This Venom Has Sting

Venom motorcycle helmet

Comic book and movie badass Venom makes for a helmet with a lot of bite. Literally…look at those teeth!

This helmet meets all DOT and ECE certifications. Sold on Etsy, it features fierce and menacing custom detailed artwork. We love the brilliant red and black, and think this is one twisted face we do not want to see in our rear view mirror.

Get to the Chopper

Predator helmet

We love these Predator-themed helmets. They are sold on Bonanza and feature a variety of nicely-detailed freaky alien Predators to choose from.

All are half-face helmets with a double visor. One hot detail is most light up with a convenient LED light. Picture it: In the dark of night, a glowing alien riding on a Harley? Yeah, that is kickass.

Ladies (Fright) Night

Womens Skeleton Helmet

Sometimes a lady just wants slip on her skeleton helmet with fangs and twisted locks and go for a ride. With this face would you tell her no?

This bad to the bone helmet is sold on eBay. The airbrushed skull visor shield gives a nice, chilling 3D effect. Is it just us or is this giving off a Harley Quinn meets Bride of Chucky vibe?

Take a Ride on the Dark Side

Darth Vader helmet

We cannot forget the OG bad buy, Darth Vader. Is there a better villain in all of the galaxy? Okay, Han Solo might be the hero with the swagger, but we’d rather ride hard and dirty like Darth Vader.

Painted in matte black, this helmet offers durable covering with excellent visibility. Get a couple of buddies to don some Stormtrooper helmets and you’ve one intimidating posse.

Running with the Devil

Devil Helmet

Yeah, this is the face that will haunt your nightmares. Therefore, it rules. This devilishly terrifying helmet will protect your cranium while putting some serious fear in the hearts of anyone unlucky enough to cross your path.

Sold on eBay, this open face helmet has been custom made with a 3-D devil visor that flips up for convenience. The details are nicely executed…okay, maybe that’s a poor choice of words. Either way, this is a perfect way to bring the fright year round.

Slash and Burn

Michael Myers helmet

You can’t have Halloween without Michael Myers. And this helmet portrays the celluloid slasher with very effective subtlety. Made by Cutting Edge Illusions, the eerie Michael Myers visage is visible on one side of helmet.

Cutting Edge does very cool motorcycle accessories, check out their stuff. This helmet is airbrushed over a matte black base. The effect is simply haunting.

The Twisted Balloon

creepy clown helmet

We hate clowns. We just hate clowns. Why do we hate clowns? Look at that clown. The grotesque face, the chompers, the dead eyes….clowns are evil.

creepy clown helmet

Xtreme Kreations does one truly soul-crushing killer clown. Their airbrush work is outstanding. Heads up, if we run into any of you wearing this, we are going in the other direction fast. Seriously, we hate clowns.

The Riding UnDead

zombie helmet

If you’d like to protect your brains from accidents and the walking dead, this helmet does the job nicely. The half-helmet designed by 88 Custom Design uses a AMZ Helmet model HY808.

The design is unsettling, as well as glossy and sharp with a urethane clearcoat finish. Plus, we really kinda want to see a zombie on a Harley.
