The protesters’ arrival was announced by the roar of their motorcycles. Approximately 2,500 motorcyclists from all over the country converged on Washington, D.C. that day and the foundation had been laid for the annual “Ride for Freedom” to the Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial Wall.

Located in Fort Washington, Maryland, Harley-Davidson of Washington, D.C. is the oldest motorcycle dealership in the D.C. metro area. The home of Rolling Thunder, they honor and support our military, emergency responders, and soldiers who never made it home.
