Bikers, BMW Drivers and Handguns – What Could go Wrong?
What do you think of the image above? Do you think a silly brawl over possession of the left lane is worth having a handgun pulled on you? That’s exactly what happened a couple of bikers in Florida.
As it’s usually the case, it’s very difficult from a reader’s point of view to really tell who’s at fault, but all I could witness from the rider’s helmet cam, is that his biker buddy and an 80’s red BMW 3 Series had a moment while trying to merge into the same lane at the same time, and neither one of them was mature enough to drop the argument and let it go.
Was it the BMW’s fault for getting out of the car to confront the bikers, or was it the bikers’ for trying to gang up on the guy and park their bikes in front of the BMW? Who knows, but what we do know, is that the BMW driver’s wife wasn’t about to witness her husband getting beaten up, and that’s when she decided to pull out a handgun—and I can’t say I blame her.
Right, wrong, legal or illegal, if you’re significant other is getting beat up, and you have a way to stop it, you do what you need to do.
