World Record-Breaking, Harley-Riding Blogger Adam Sandoval’s New Biker Series, Kickstands Up, Supports Wounded Warrior Project

Harley-Davidson biker and prolific writer Adam Sandoval, the man behind the awesome travel blog Adam Sandoval Rides, knows how to break world records. For his incredible Scoot in America project, Sandoval sold almost everything that he owned, grabbed his Chihuahua co-pilot Scooter, and left November 10, 2014 on a mission to hit every Harley-Davidson dealership in the lower 48 states in order to raise money and awareness for our nation’s military and their families.

After two years on the road and over 80,000 miles, Sandoval broke two world motorcycle records: number of dealerships visited by a single person, and longest motorcycle trip in a single journey. He did it all from the seat of his 1996 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide, “The Warhorse,” and raised over $300,000 in donations.

“One hundred percent of the proceeds go to the Wounded Warrior Project,” Sandoval tells The News-Herald. “I just wanted to find a way to give back and do what I could, and to use something I was passionate about to do so. That is how I came up with this campaign.”

‘I realized how many amazing bikers are out there. These stories need to be told.’

After garnering a large, loyal fan base with his popular Adam Sandoval Rides blog, the longtime Harley enthusiast recently lunched his newest project, Kickstands Up, a weekly Youtube series introducing readers to the most influential people in the moto world. Episodes focus on the who’s who of the cycle world, revealing their favorite rides, attractions and hot spots. Recent episodes filmed in Canoga Park, California, feature Belles on Bikes and Why We Ride.

When he’s not busy blogging, meeting fellow motorcyclists and devising clever new ways to use his Harley to make life better for fellow riders, Sandoval offers his talents to help build custom bikes for veterans. He also likes to unwind by exploring new road adventures for himself and his four-legged travel buddy.

“My dog Scooter and I live for the open road,” says Sandoval in the first episode of the new series. “I build motorcycles. I break world records. Philanthropy is my passion.”

It is Adam’s — and Scooter’s — mission to help our country’s military men and women suffering from PTSD and other war-related injuries. The duo are working hard to help veterans get onto motorcycles so that they can experience some wind-in-their-hair therapy.

During his Scoot in America trek, Sandoval says, “I realized how many amazing bikers are out there. These stories need to be told.”
