BUILDUP A 2006 Harley-Davidson Street Bob Project

The Harley-Davidson Street Bob is one cool bike. That’s not to say that other hogs aren’t on par with this amazing ride, but rather that the Street Bob seems to have immense popularity among the hog-owning crowd.

They sport the appeal of torque, power, noise, and prestige, just as any Harley-Davidson motorcycle would, while having their style and flare that is just, in and of itself, rather distinct and desirable. They are simply great bikes.

And HDForums member SixDD would probably agree, since he is currently working on a build involving his 2006 Street Bob. The ride already looks pretty nice, but it comes as no surprise that he wants to make some of his own changes to the hog, both to improve its performance and style on the road.

Among many other things, SixDD plans to add new rotors and a pulley, a Bare Bones seat, Rocket Bobs fenders, new handlebars, a new intake and exhaust, Wide Glide triple trees, various engraved pieces, and much more. He also anticipates having the ride custom painted, which is always an exciting thing to do!

Though the Street Bob might not be your favorite in the Harley-Davidson lineup, it certainly is one great ride, and we’re glad that SixDD loves his! Go stop by his build thread and show your support!
