2012 Road King Classic… tubeless laced wheels. Question
Hello All - I have 2012 tubeless “profile” laced wheels on my Road King Classic. It’s time for new tires. I visited my local HD dealer in St Augustine, Fl. Nobody in the service department had ever heard of tubeless laced wheels. I attempted to purchase new inner rim liners. No one knew anything. One employee claimed I needed tubes. Does anyone here know a good HD part number for the rim inner liner for these wheels? Thanks in advance.
You could always try another shop. I know they own several dealers in your area, but probably Hardcore Cycles in Jax. I know they are a Harley Indy shop. Worth a call and might be better labor pricing.
I had those rims on a 2012 Heritage Softail. Loved them. Why did Harley do away with them?
Spoked rims that are tubeless (able to be plugged on the road) is what I always dreamed of.
