An Evel Twin Street Tracker Build
Sometimes builds are based on our own personal preference. Other times, they’re based on realistic and achievable goals. At still other times, builds are based upon preexisting concepts. Regardless of which direction one chooses to take with their project, we love them all. But, really, who wouldn’t?

Building up a bike takes a great deal of dedication and commitment, and certainly a decent amount of time and money. It’s not an easy task, regardless of how small or large the endeavor is. Really, it’s something that has to be admired, and we certainly do!
HDForums member Jeff, who is also known by his username daygo1966, has recently finished a build of his own, and it’s one that we find immensely impressive. The project is an Evel Twin Street Tracker build, and it’s certainly outstanding! Jeff started with 4130 Chrome-Moly and crafted the ride from a C&J racing frame custom jig.
The ride was later nickel plated and polished, and a brand new Buell 1200R motor was thrown in. Performance machine wheels and brakes were added alongside an aluminum XR 750 tank. An Omars rear fender was put on, and Dunlop street legal tires with slapped on the wheels. A Penske dirt track racing shock was placed onto the rear, and the ride was called good. If that’s not amazing, we don’t know what is!
Go check out Jeff’s build thread and see the ride for yourself!
