Classic Harley Model 6 Replica is a Stunner

This 1910 Harley replica offers the best of both worlds for most riders.

We think a lot of us would agree that it would be really cool to own an early example of a Harley-Davidson. While primitive and fragile compared to today’s bikes, they represent the beginnings of a legend that has lived on for 115 years and counting.

Owning such a piece of history comes with a fair share of responsibility, and as a result, we think that, in a lot of cases, those bikes belong in the hands of dedicated collectors or museums who can preserve them better than we ever could.

However, if you’re looking to appreciate the experience of an early Harley for yourself, there’s a way to do it that involves a lot less stress and quite a bit less money. Enter Timeless Motor Company.

For the past decade or so, Timeless has been painstakingly building picture-perfect replicas of priceless classic bikes, including this 1910 Harley-Davidson Model 6 that we found on Craigslist in Kansas City.

According to their website, each bike is custom-built to the owner’s specifications, and prices can start out as low as $8,295. That’s substantially less money for an original bike, and something we wouldn’t mind occasionally riding.

We can imagine these beautiful tributes — works of art, really — decorating homes, Harley dealerships, and garages across America. Functional sculpture that looks equally at home on display or on the road.

With every detail from the spring seat to the leather drive belt expertly recreated by careful, skilled hands, you’d be hard-pressed to find a more accurate, ride-able replica of Harley-Davidson’s early motorcycles. It’s amazing to think that machines like this were what originally put the company we know and love today on the map.
