‘Crystal Blue’ Harley-Davidson Breakout Aims To Be a Coherent Automotive Artwork
German Custom Shop, Bunderbike, and Swiss Specialist Carrosserie Ludwig collab for a epically-stunning Harley-Davidson called ‘Crystal Blue.’
European custom bike outfits have much to offer, and the same is true for this custom Harley Davidson Breakout which was crafted to perfection by a German atelier called Bunderbike.
The blue accented Harley is called Bundnerbike catalog Stratos HB 8, or Crystal Blue. With over 200 striking Harley-Davidson creations under its belt, the custom bike builder has established its own unique style identity.
Bunderbike had already created two impressive Stratos models called Blue Hero and Silent Masterpiece. Both offerings started life as stock Breakouts, which is also the case with Bundnerbike Crystal Blue.
The bike now rides on a 19-inch rim at the front and an 18-inch alloy at the rear. Apart from that, the custom bike also gets an in-house manufactured saddle, air filter, and handlebar. Crystal Blue sports a “Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde” exhaust system, and the rear fender now gets an LED treatment.
Cyrstal Blue looks exactly like something you would expect of a Bunderbike garage offering. However, the name is a nod to the eye-catching paint job that adorns the bike’s bodywork.
On the same note, the exterior was tweaked into place by a Swiss Specialist called Carrosserie Ludwig. In addition to the paint job, the swiss atelier also modified the body of the Crystal Blue Harley-Davidson Breakout. Carrosserie Ludwig is known for its body customs and reworks for cars, motorcycles, and anything else in between.
Interestingly enough, Crystal Blue is not the first time Bunderbike has experimented with a Harley in this distinct manner. Back in 2017, Bunderbike collaborated with Bucherer, a luxury watch and jewelry maker, to create Harley Davidson Blue. The bike was a product of 2500 man-hours. The bike flaunted engraved diamonds and a see-through engine.
Harley Davidson Blue received a $1.79 Million price tag, which makes it one of the most expensive custom Harleys in the world. As far as custom Harleys go, Crystal Blue has been described as a “coherent work of art”.
So far, we do not have any information regarding the bike’s pricing. For reference though, prices of a 2020 Breakout starts from $20,499.
