Now that the Electra Glide is roadworthy again, I'm back to thinking about the NW Arkansas road trip I was talking about a little while back in the Peace and Quiet thread.
The way things look, Saturday July 18 would work out well.
I'm looking to find a spot for lunch, then spend the rest of the day riding the area. A guy told me about Pig Trail Bypass Country Cafe, which looks promising. But really anything in the area will do, so if you've got a recommendation, by all means spill it.
I'd probably be in, and most likely make it a Thursday to Sunday weekend.
We would probably stay in Eureka Springs Friday night and catch the Great Passion Play.
If it would suit more people, could even move it up a month,
we were already loosely planning on making a ride up there sometime in June.
If not, we could do something else like TN in June, do the AR run in July.
Either or.
I need to check a few things, but as of right now I'm a "maybe".
Google maps says it's 6 1/2 hours from my house to the Pig Trail Bypass Country Cafe. I know it sounds pathetic, but I may have to take 2 days to go that far. I need to get out and ride to see how it goes.
