This Custom H-D Softail is the Vintage Machine of My Dreams

While I personally love the look and feel of original classic bikes, there is a part of me that longs to create, fabricate and own a fully custom machine that is unlike anything else on the road. To that end, I find myself slacking off at work to peruse Google for cool and exciting customs bikes. Recently I stumbled into a collection of two-wheeled heathens from the 2014 Custom Bike World Championship and I saw the most magnificent Harley-Davidson.

Built by custom shop One Way Machine, the “Brougham” won the H-D category, and for good reason. What started life as a 2001 Softail has been completely reworked with a Dyna front end and Panhead-style rockers, as well as a litany of custom parts to create a bike that could have come straight from the 1950s. Its dark, low, menacing and it looks damned fast. I can promise that if this bike existed in the past, even owners of various Series C and Series D Vincents would have to take notice.

Holy hell, do I want one.
